  1. they never had a dynasty, anyone who knows anything about basketball, knew they got lucky playing against the 8th seed. they won’t be winning anytime soon. hope the nuggets fans savored that EASY championship.

  2. I think inevitably these front offices outside of the coaching maybe , they are not real basketball fans they are business men worried bout making the most money. They won a chip they got they clout of it and will ride the increased ticket sales till they fall off

  3. i’m seeing the effects of tim connelly leaving denver to come to my team in mn in real time. feels so good tho fr to see this man come to mn and immediately turn us into actual competitors when we haven’t been there since like 03

  4. i still can’t get over Phoenix having the highest team salary in the league and not getting out of the first round. matt ishbia trying to play 2k myleague irl fr and it’s just not working

  5. Denver lost GM Tim Connelly to the T-wolves — and he immediately started putting together a potential contender in Minnie. The new GM, Calvin Booth, signed Bruce Brown, who helped the Nuggets win a title. And then the GM fell into a DEEP SLUMBER — and he's yet to wake up.
Denver then lost Brown, Green and now Caldwell-Pope without doing anything remotely serious to replace them. Everybody else getting better and Nuggets getting worse.
You gotta have a competent GM if you want to compete for a title.

  6. yep. it's kinda pathetic.
it's getting from bad to worse.
    Embarrassing, pathetic.

And, I hate to say this as I was Jamal Murray fan for years and was rooting for him to become great – which never happened, I hate to say – that he's now increasingly becoming a liability.
What was his claim to fame? About a dozen games against the worst defenders in the league and the 2-man game with a HOF/top 10 player of all time/best passer and one of the best floor generals ever… ? The guy that always draws 2-3 defenders on him… ?

Yep. Jamal Murray, even when he was great, was just a "Jokic merchant"… schlepping and free-loading on the greatness of Nikola Jokic. A mid, low-mid guard in this league. Hence – no individual achievements – ever. None, zilch. NBA people are not that dumb.

Nuggets paying him all this money – when his last 15-16 months clearly say "DECLINE" in bright red flashing lights is what everyone expected – knowing what Nuggets owners focus is and what Nuggets GM/FO competency is.

Nuggets complained about "not getting national attention" – Weelll… THIS IS EXACTLY THE REASON – and now they're getting some… but for "all the wrong reasons".

    DESERVED.

Denver Nuggets, Kroenkes, Booth, Murray – are the epitomes of cheap faking… Epitomes of what Denver Nuggets always were and probably will always be.
