So the Padres’ 9th inning plan was not to swing the bat? Interesting.
Didnt feel like Michael King was in rhythm today. Bryan Woo was sensational flat out. Good win Mariners.
THE TATIS JR SHOW IS BACK…
Wish they cut the circle dance out next year, thats a Servais thing.
Only 3.5 back!!! Let's go M'S!!!
Luis Urías hasn't played in the game today, but why isn't he used in the game?
Have you been demoted to the minor leagues again?
White Gary Martin Paul Harris Jason
Padres play by play guy is so annoying. Mariners commentator is so much better.
Un error en el tercer inning fue el que cambió el juego…
Final: Mariners 5, Padres 2. Spoiler blocker blocker.
Audio is distorted again, MLB. Can't you just lower the the levels? So basic.. it's actually dangerous listening to distorted audio you know.
My oh my!!!
Tatis is insane

Wow I can't believe we never tried scoring more runs than the other team before. Feels good! Vedder Cup champs again!
and the run begins now. Mariners are 100% in control of their own destiny. Win out and you make playoffs as the AL West winner. Only problem? this is probably the toughest stretch of games of the season. 4 series against Division Rivals, and 1 against the Yankees, with the biggest series of them being the 3-game trip TO HOUSTON. Will they make it all the way? Realistically, probably not; but I wouldn't be surprised if they made it real close, just like last year.
I have a feeling that the mariners playoff hopes are going to hinge on that final series against houston.
I'm back.
Close the gap to two games before the showdown.

👍2-runs👍allowed = 80% win ratio.

Great job, especially against one of the best scoring teams in MLB.
Just keep the opposing team runs at 3 and under each and every game. And you'll be just fine.
Every team has great talent. They pool from the same sources. All are about equal. And so, you must develop a strategy that will separate you from your opponents.
And playing that level of defense is it. Because most teams are not accustomed to it for the entire game. As the pressure begins to build, they become frustrated.
And all it takes is one mistake, and that's, most of the time, is what will decide the winner. Such as the error by Padres.
Again, playing this level of defense is what will give you an edge over your opponents.
"You're not going to win every game with great defense. But you're going to be in every game with great defense."

Woo should be proud ngl 6.0 of perfection.
The Mariners have flipped the script from how it was in 2022. I'm looking forward to that series in Houston. The Mariners toughest series will be against New York. Then the next 9 games are against AL West teams.
Tiring watching 7 innings of flyouts but good to see Tatis making some plays
Frauds not touching the playoffs.
The Seattle Mariners are 74-72🔵🟢⚪️⛴️🔱
Love how every highlight package has at least one egregious called strike
Tatis hr was an absolute missile. I wonder what the speed was off the bat. 115 at least I’m guessing
Woo is so so so so so underrated
