Beginning Friday, the Mets have a three game series against the Phillies while the Braves will be facing off with the Dodgers, the Diamondbacks with the Brewers, and the Padres with the Giants. With races this close and sixteen games left in the season, these will be very important games to win.
Any wild predictions? Personally, I hope Ohtani reaches 50/50 during the Braves series so we can stop hearing about it and piss off the Braves at the same time.

I see this reiterated in a couple of threads, but how cool of a season we’ve had! I was there for the double header when we were 1-4, I was there to see grimace practice that first pitch right infront of the Mets dugout for 35 minutes, I tried to find the guy with swag to no avail.

If we win 2 games in each of the 5 remaining series we have (with the braves series the most important one left), that gets us to 90 wins. I think that’s getting us a wildcard.
Braves have a cakewalk but Dbacks and Padres both have pretty difficult schedules like the Mets . So at least it will be the best team making the playoffs and not just who had a good April – May and then rode 500
