  4. Man, good thing we picked up some solid Dmen during the summer and Dougie being due back. The possibility of Luke missing a few games in the beginning of the season isn’t so anxiety inducing. But I fckn hope it aint that serious

  10. The fact that they didn’t release a statement earlier makes me think that he’ll heal in time for the season and they’re not worried.

  13. Yea this is NOT GOOD. Look for a dislocated shoulder and out ~6 months announcement. Season hasn’t even started and we’re about to injure ourselves out of a playoff spot with no Luke or Nemec for majority of the season.

  15. So statement says he got hurt in off ice training earlier this month. So I’m guessing he’s ~10 days into recovery. They say it should be 6-8 weeks. So there’s a chance he travels with the team to Prague. They only announced this because he was seen with a visible injury, so they’re likely not concerned he misses time or if he does it’s probably the back to back in Prague only.

  17. USA Hockey is a fucking disgrace lately. This country’s development team took a weird turn about twenty years ago and they are producing large amounts of undersized, non-aggressive, completely allergic-to-contact players.

    I wonder how much the NFL is to blame for this.
