Hutch 1st year – 9.5 sacks, 3 ints, 52 tackles, 15 qb hits, 9 TFL – 2nd place for RotY (Sauce was great too).
He’s been putting up elite numbers for it just being his first two seasons and his numbers improved his second season, which is crazy considering he had no one opposite him last year to really help balance double teams.
He was literally being tripled teamed during the Rams game. The guy is a monster and he’s only in his 3rd year.
Convinced the league called Jacksonville to force them to take Walker over Hutch so they can build a script because even at the time Walker over Hutch was unthinkable. Fast forward a couple of years later and it turns out to be the case. No GM in their right mind looked at Hutch’s film and Walker’s film and said “Yeah Walker is number 1.” Granted it was a “weak class” but even then it’s like alright if that’s the case get the most polished player in said weak draft, if the draft is weak, get the most refined player. Walker was not even close to being refined. In fact, one of the reasons why he was such an interesting prospect is because of his raw untapped ability and potential. So I just can’t wrap my head around that decision but fuck it, we ball.

This is making me reconsider a little bit. But if I had to pick a couple of guys on the team that would be future Hall of Famers. Aidan would probably be somewhat low on the list considering how important he is to our defense. I’m putting Sewell and Amon-Ra in first.
But maybe I need to think about that more.

You forgot he’s also thrown less interceptions than any QB through first 35 games.

I remember draft pundits saying that Hutch had already reached his ceiling and ‘what you see is what you get’.
