  1. The Padres lost the season series to the Rockies, Angels, Mariners, Blue Jays, and Cardinals. As they say.. that’s baseball.

  2. Still 7-6 against the Phils with a +23 run differential. Sisyphus would’ve had an easier time getting the boulder to stay at the top than the Phillies have had beating the Braves in the regular season

  3. I mean… come on we aren’t that bad to be included in this list. We are 2 games over .500

  4. Are you really a postseason team this year if you haven’t played a stretch of weirdly bad baseball and played down to the level of much worse teams?

  5. whatever… this seasons been so fucking dumb…

Between the injuries and guys having career low years and and and…

  6. Not hearing this Reds slander.

Reds took the season series against the Phillies, 4-3.

They have the season series over the Dodgers, 4-3.

    They swept the Yankees.

They swept the Astros (though it’s been documented that Cincy has some sort of hex over HOU).

Besides, Atlanta still has a chance to finish 3-3 with a road sweep at GABP.

  7. Braves are currently 0-3 against the Reds. Braves still have 3 more games against the Reds in Cincinnati from 9/17 to 9/19. So feel it’s a little premature to say they lost the season series with Reds.

  8. I get where they’re going with this, but don’t lump in the Cards here with the other sub-.500’s.

  9. Speak for yourself, I’d rather have that than the Cubs situation where we lose every tiebreaker to every potential wild card team (not that we’re close enough to make the playoffs anyway but)

The Braves lost to bad teams but they’re still in pretty good shape because of the tiebreakers. They have the tiebreaker against the Diamondbacks and are in the drivers seat for the tiebreaker against the Mets, they also have the tiebreakers against the Cubs and Phillies though those almost certainly won’t matter. Only tiebreaker they don’t have is the Padres

  10. One of the best teams against above .500 teams, losing record against under .500 teams. Braves baseball baby.

  11. The Braves didn’t lose the season series to the Reds. They placed them 3x with 3 games still remaining.

  12. Braves have a winning record against teams over .500 and losing record against teams with a record below .500 lol
