28 days until the season opener…

Not pictured above are Patrick Leahy: 2007 and Steve Bégin: 2011.

Denny Lambert went undrafted and would be picked by the Nashville Predators in the 1998 Expansion Draft. He would play 76 games, scoring 5 goals and 11 assists.

Jeremy Stevenson was covered on Day 37.

Tomáš Klouček was drafted 131st overall by the New York Rangers in 1998. He would play 8 games for the Preds, tallying just 1 assist.

Cameron Mann was drafted 99th overall by the Boston Bruins in 1995. He would play 4 games for Nashville.

Patrick Leahy was drafted 122nd overall by the New York Rangers in 1998. He would play 1 game for Nashville.

Ryan Jones was drafted 111th overall by the Minnesota Wild in 2004. He would play 87 games for the Preds, scoring 14 goals and 14 assists.

Steve Bégin was drafted 40th overall by the Calgary Flames in 1996. He would play just 2 games for the Preds.

Paul Gaustad was drafted 220th overall by the Buffalo Sabres in 2000. He would play 248 games for Nashville, scoring 18 goals and 32 assists.

Kyle Wilson was drafted 272nd overall by the Minnesota Wild in 2004. He would play 5 games for the Preds.

Eeli Tolvanen was drafted 30th overall by the Nashville Predators in 2017. He would play 135 games for Nashville, scoring 25 goals and 26 assists. He was put on waivers and got snatched up by the Seattle Kraken in one of the dumbest moves ever made by David Poile. Hynes tried to ruin him, but in Seattle, Tolvanen saw a resurgence and an improved role that would see him immediately make an impact in the playoffs. I hate it.

Jaret Anderson-Dolan was drafted 41st overall by the Los Angeles Kings in 2017. Being claimed off waivers by the Nashville Predators on March 7th, 2024 he would make just 1 appearance. He recently signed a 2-year, $1.55 million contract with the Winnipeg Jets on July 2nd, 2024.

Just a little note, this is one of MANY days that will feature double digits in terms of players, so I apologize in advance if these aren't as in depth as the lighter days and if they're done way later in the day.
