I am never more confident in our success than I am when Devin has two runners on with one out.
Average Devin Williams save
WHAT AN OUTING FROM MONTAS
JACKSON CHOURIO IS HIM
WE WON A WEST COAST SERIES THATS ALL THAT MATTERS
HAVE YOU HEARD ABOUT THIS JACKSON CHOURIO FELLA
EDIT: THAT ONE WAS FOR HANK
good game, not too clenchy
Devin must have had a date. Thought for sure heβd walk one of those last two batters.
Great win brew crew awesome shutout officially unclenched see you tomorrow night against the π s…
Players since integration with a 75 game stretch with an OPS of .920 or higher before turning 20 1/2
– Al Kaline
– Juan Soto
– Willy Mays
– Tony Conigliaro
– Jackson Chourio
I think this kid is good
I guess I’ll have to wear my Peralta soccer jersey to work tomorrow for funsies
I have no strong feelings one way or the other, win achieved and we move along. September still feels a slog
Awesome for Jackson though, so glad he is killing it

This team is such a roller coaster right now, but I’m here for the ride π»
MONTAS GEM
JACKSON ‘MIKE TROUT’ CHOURIO
SWING AND MISS MERCHANT
Find someone who loves you as much as Devin loves scaring the shit out of us before locking in and getting the save.
Iβm running out of different ways to express how incredible Jackson Chourio is. There were people who wanted him sent down to AAA in May. Heβs been our best hitter since the all-star break. 20/20 season before heβs old enough to drink. The next decade of Brewers baseball is going to be a fun one.
For Hank
Did it for Hank!
This win *should* be enough to take the division because I donβt envision the Cubs winning 9 more games
# PIP PIP!!!!
Good win, pitching-wise, but no time for celebrating as tomorrow begins the Crew’s first big test of September.
Fell asleep during the third inning only to wake up hearing my large handsome Venezuelan child speaking Spanish to Sophia and I knew they got the dub. Rest easy, Hank. Tell Dale Earnhardt I said hello.
Kudos to Brewer management for locking up Chourio before he even made the bigs!

Me with the really vocal guy postgame
Rea fading but Montas and Civale coming out of nowhere. Great signings!
Win it for Hank.
This is exactly what we needed π
Jackson Chourio….3rd player in MLB history to have 20 SB and 20 HR at the age of 20. (Even Griffey Jr didn’t hit those numbers at 20…his 2nd season.)
The other 2…Yada Pinson 1959 and Mike Trout 2011
If Pinson is Chourio’s floor…we have a great player.
If the ceiling is Trout…we have the best player in the game for a decade.
Fun fact for y’all…Vada Pinson has a higher career WAR than…Ryan Braun.
I looked it up so you don’t have to…but look it up yourselves. Who knewπ
I’m surprised that people were stressed out about that 9th inning. I really only stress when Devin’s got the tying run at 3rd or when he’s walking guys. He just rarely gives up HR so the tying run at the plate really doesn’t bother me that much. For his career he gives up a HR about once every 15.5 innings. I actually thought he looked really good tonight. He made one mistake pitch to Encarnacion but outside of that pitch he was locating extremely well.
