  1. Probably because they’re paying him a quarter billion and he’s vehemently denying he allegations so until proven otherwise they’ll try to get their money’s worth…

  2. I’m pretty confident they’re putting their exit strategy together. They likely don’t have complete control of the timing or even if that fully materializes though.

    Until then, should he be playing? Browns management’s job is to win games. If he helps them do that they should use him. If he’s not (and it should be a very short leash this Sunday) they should at least see what happens with the other veteran on the team.

  3. One ACL tear this Sunday and they’re on the hook for way more of that cap hit they keep pushing back and back and back.

  4. I can think of quite a few reasons they’re playing him. Specifically, the sunk cost fallacy and 240 million reasons.

    But he’s washed.

  5. They should never have brought him in in the first place. Whenever I think I can’t be shocked by the incompetence of the Browns management, they do something dumber than I can imagine.
