I love Trae, but his shoes were not made well by adidas. I bought a pair and they just didn’t fit normally like other shoes. The toebox was a weird and uncomfortable shape. Tried different sizes, but didn’t matter, hurt my feet. Would’ve kept them too otherwise.
Not gonna lie. I bought the Trae 2s because they were super cheap. I can’t wear them because they take me so long to put on. I imagine others had a similar experience and just won’t buy his shoes again.

The 1s were excellent for hooping and the 2s were awful. Haven’t tried the 3s yet but they look really cool in person
Adidas really fumbled after the Trae 1’s imo. Design aspect just wasn’t there
Honestly I hope he shoots for Nike. Paul George didn’t get a Nike until he was like 27-28 and they’ve sold super well

I can’t stand the 2s and the 3s are meh
Hope he goes back to the Next Level’s — he played better in them and they looked way cooler.

Team performance and market are major contributors to this. It’s easier for him to change teams (which also changes the market) then to substantially improve team performance 😬
