  1. Anyone who seriously thinks this needs to not comment on football again. November and you’re like 2-7? Then you can overreact.

  2. Don’t support this clickbait garbage. I looked at three articles on that site and it’s basically just low quality fan drivel. There is no actual source talking about Peyton becoming the Broncos coach or Sean on the hot seat. That’d be like fansided saying with no sources Macdonald is on the hot seat if we lost last week.

  3. Every year, half the teams lose on opening day. Some of them will do so with badly lopsided scores, some will be agonizingly close and ultimately decided by one key play. Some of them will lose after having the lead for most of the game. However it happens, week one is way too early to be calling for someone’s head over it.

  4. The Russell Wilson trade truly saved this franchise and doomed theirs…so crazy how things end up working out.

  5. Age is a bitch and Payton has turned into the mean old grandpa of the NFL. Not saying that he’s bad but he’s lost some juice in a number of ways for sure.

  6. I think this article is full of BS. rookie qb and only one game into the season and they are talking replacing the coach, no way this is near anything of the truth.

  7. Sean Payton is 8 wins with 10 losses since joining the Broncos.

They hired Sean after giving up the entire house for Russ Wilson, and a second round pick for Sean! There is zero chance that Sean Payton didn’t all but guarantee making the playoffs with the team everyone claimed the Broncos had. There wasn’t a single analyst who didn’t have the Broncos in the playoffs last year. Then the Broncos entire year came off the rails and all the players revolted.

Why did the Broncos fail last year and do they look better now than they were last year?

Sean Payton is 100% on the hot seat, as well he should be!

  8. Not defending Sean Payton but how could they get rid of him before George Patton? Worst GM in recent memory

  9. I think the Denver fans are still reallllly sensitive about how badly the Wilson trade went and just can’t get any semblance of revenge against us.

  10. Honestly, it’d be really stupid for them to move on so quickly for a wide variety of reasons. All they’ve had at QB is a washed Russell Wilson and 1 single game from a rookie QB.

  11. Article suggesting Peyton Manning as a replacement. That suggests to me that the author had some help from Chat GPT, cause that’s exactly the kind of thing chat gpt would do if you asked it to write a paragraph recommending a replacement for Sean Payton.

  12. a lot of people dislike Sean Payton. the only reason I don’t dislike Sean Payton as much as them is because I want him to succeed at the expense of Russell. I watched Team 3 manipulate the Denver situation as much as they did in Seattle and I kinda feel bad for them. It took me near the end of the Seattle Russell tenure to realize what Russell was doing to make himself look good. and what he did came at the expense of literally every acquaintance that was connected to him, many that I have a lot of respect for.

  13. So then it wasn’t Russ? J/k. I blame the broncos higher up’s for not letting Brock O play that last superbowl instead of Payton M. They’ve sucked since.
