Probably has a futures bet on Dodgers winning it all
The TV ratings will be huge.
Doubt.
Why not just let the man fully recover. No chance of a freak Chris Sale like injury that doesn’t allow the 5050 candidate to hit. If Ohtani is all they got, as in needing him to pitch rather than having him pitch, then it’s just wild. Have him close out the WorldSeries if they make it, a la like he did at the WBC. Can LAD tell him no lol?
Definitely looking forward to the Strauss Dodgers of Los Angeles getting Guggenheim-sponsored Shohei up on the mound to face another Strauss-sponsored team in the Strauss Elite Baseball Tournament of Major League Baseball…sponsored by Strauss.
I mean, yes it’s Ohtani, but unless he’s been secretly ramping up this seems like more risk than reward
