Watching Vegas sports lately as someone who actually wants democracy to continue is becoming increasingly difficult realizing just how many of the players between the Golden Knights and Raiders are full MAGA.
Bummer, but hardly surprising. Just because they play on the team we support doesn’t mean they know the first thing about politics or whether we’d even like them if we actually got to know them. They play, we cheer. Outside of that, all bets are off.
Welp, that sucks. Can’t root for him anymore.
The fact they’re selling merch on the big screen is so dystopian lmaoÂ

I couldn’t care less what any celebrity or sports star does with their personal time (as long as they aren’t hurting anybody else). Everyone can form their own opinions.
Unfortunately, rich white guys are gonna rich white guy. It’s in a wealthy persons interest to support a party that caters specifically to them.

I see a lot of hate for this, maybe rightly so, maybe not. But keep in mind, Ovechkin is an open supporter of Putin. Doesn’t get more scummy than that.
Here’s the thing…I absolutely despise the MAGA cult. But, I am not going to go so far as to hate Jack for this. My kid did his camp over the summer and he is genuinely a great person. He really spent a lot of time with the kids, he does a ton for charity, and is all around a good dude.
If you’re involved in hockey in town especially with kids, you know that most of these guys are great people for the most part.
That said, this is unfortunate to see but let him live dude.
The only musician that is safe to like is Weird Al and the only hockey player that is safe to like is Ryan Nugent Hopkins.
The rest is a coin toss.
Yeah fuck him. If it was a normal republican candidate, that’s one thing. But it isn’t and anyone still supporting him after Jan 6th hates America. Again, this isn’t a conservative/liberal issue. Trump is not a republican, everyone knows that, even republicans.
