  7. Was there and it was pretty cool overall. It was near the end of the event and he probably would’ve kept the call going longer otherwise. Not sure if I’m misremembering what he said but he said the Kyle would’ve stayed on too long

    Other stuff he talked about in case anyone’s interested:

    On Kyle:
    — Kyle sends him YouTube clips of their raptors highlights every other week asking him if he remembers those games

    — He’s not that into golf so he’s pretty much Kyle’s caddy when they golf

    Other stuff he talked about: Kobe in the drew league, OG telling him mid-game how his daughter needs to cut it out (referring to the play-in game where she owned us at the free throw line), how he matured in Toronto, and stories about his dad, his struggles with mental health.

    all-in-all, it was a nice intimate setting. Lots of love for DeMar.

    Kinda cramped though. Unbeknownst to most of us prior to arriving, there was an opportunity to submit questions for DeMar to answer. The start of the event was delayed because of it. Apparently the organizers expected more people to get out of their seat to submit questions at the back of the room. Seats were unassigned and on a first-come basis so that wasn’t realistic on their part.

  9. One of the best Kyle & DeMar clips is Jimmy Butler admitting Lowry wouldn’t pick up the phone for him, but would for Deebo. Something like, “Kyle is high on my life priority list, but I am not high on Kyle’s.” Lmao

  18. It’s awesome that they’re genuine friends man. You see it a lot with star players that need to pretend to be friends. Not many I’ve seen have been more real than this
