well at least Saggese hit a home run and Siani can win a gold glove maybe
Yo the loss sucks but that Saggese to Pages play at the plate was SICKKKKK
Oh Carddies, you just can’t figure out first games of the series. Good on Vlad tho, his defense was immaculate. Saved atleast 3 runs
“The Cardinals just couldn’t get the big hit.” – Chip, which pretty much sums up our entire season.
Hey does anyone know how Jimmy Ballgame feels about sabermetics? 🤣
at least we have Saggs in this otherwise dark time
Well…always next game…
Not a serious team
Libby a starter next year, yes?
thank god it ended, edmonds made me mute it in the 11th
I hate this offense. Honestly, the pitching has been sort of what we expected but this offense has been so disappointing…
“The one thing I’d ask from our fan base right now is a little bit of patience, because we do think that we do have the talent to win.”
Fernandez has been a decent pitcher for us all year. But holy moly our offense hates him. 1-5 record??
Our RISP after the 1st was something special, dare I say record breaking
Masyn Winn hit his 27th double tonight. He’ll probably hit 30 by the end of the season. Not bad for a rookie.
Fedde fucking sucks. Done with his ass
Thank god i turned this game off to watch a college football game I care nothing about. Seeing the first inning have so many hits was exciting.. except we couldn’t do much with it. I fully expected 3 strikeouts. I was pleasantly surprised by 2 runs. But that’s bad for a fan to know that in the back of their head and Nolan arenados lack of effort robbed saggase of an rbi single. A force out on a should be hit. Nolan arenado doesn’t try very hard. His complete lack of effort on several opportunities later in the game robbed us. Nolan arenado and me are the same age except im not an athlete, I smoked for several years, I’m coming off of a shitload of chemo and am now borderline disabled. .. but I shit you not I still run faster than him and still could run the bases better than him. I couldn’t hit or play the field, but I’d i got the opportunity to run it would be more entertaining to watch me try. You’d be like, that guy sucks but at least he made an effort. He’s that bad. Oh well. My point is this team sucks and you just know in the back of your head they’ll fuck it up. An exciting moment to a game isnt even fun. I was pleasantly surprised we got 2 runs out of bases loaded no one out in the first. When that’s all we got I knew that’s all we’d get. And i turned it off. Good for saggese for willing his own hit into existence to tie later. Point is, this team isn’t fun to watch even when we scrape out wins, and I’m disgusted that we seemingly manage ourselves out of wins all year and haven’t let our younger players play more. We have not been a serious team for a long time now. We arent trying to make the playoffs. Get everyone that isn’t an up and coming prospect out of there and let’s see what we have. Look at sagasee figuring it out. We’ve managed to spend a fuck load of money on washed players and act like we can’t spend on anything else and we aren’t even letting the young guys play. Whatever. Thanks for coming to my ted talk. When I went back to watch the part of the game I missed I’m just blown away by how little some of our players try. I seriously think I’m in better shape than nado and that’s sad…. so anyways, I’ll see you guys tomorrow. Go cards
Okay, I mean, like, I’m looking at the Cardinals top prospects page, specifically the scouting grades. And Saggese’s Field is only 45. The most glowing compliment of his defense is that he “exhibits decent footwork around the bag” at second base. So when did he decide to become a second base defensive god???
