  1. I watched a JV football game today and I had no idea wtf was going on with all the crazy new rules.

Extra points the defense couldn’t rush the kicker and were worth two points. I kept thinking the scoreboard was off, but nope.

  2. as expected they won’t call it in game but instead use it as an excuse to take money from the players. the nflpa is the worst union in the world

  3. Minimal fine, but that kinda looks like a regular tackle. Feels like malicious intent should be taken into account – didn’t seem he was trying to hurt him

  4. Yeah I remember this tackle, I wasn’t really set on it being a hip-drop tackle but it was edgy enough where I think this an okay fine just to reinforce the new rule.

Sucks, I think I saw maybe one other tackle I can’t remember which game where I thought the defender was close to doing it but most games I watched did well with it though so we gotta take this one I guess.

  5. hip-drop tackles definitely need to be taken out of the game, but penalties need to be called as it happens to emphasize the importance of not tackling that way
