And as John Schriffen mentions, the walkoff snaps a 16-game home losing streak for the Sox
Upsets on Saturday isn’t just for college football.

What a brutal way for the Oakland Athletics to be eliminated from playoff contention for the final time in their history
Tie game on a single, questionable send keeps it tied, Nicky Lopez almost let’s the third out drop in no man’s Lans, Benintendi walks it off. Baseball is the greatest sport in the world.
Was Miller not available?
Happy to see Benny happy

“…end the 16 game home losing streak”
The WHAT??
Dammit
It could’ve only been Beni, because that was a jet! I wanna see Jerry have to own the record as much as anyone but…well, it’s very nice to have this one.
History watch update:
9-4: Required to avoid 120 losses (our best record in a 13-game stretch is 8-5)
8-5: Required to match 120 losses but not break the modern-era loss record (last went 8-5 from May 4-May 17)
7-6: Required in order to exceed the 1962 Mets’ win percentage (last went 7-6 from May 8-May 21)
6-7: Required in order to reach 40 wins (last went 6-7 from June 27-July 10)
5-8: Required in order to avoid the worst win percentage in the modern era (last went 5-8 from June 28-July 12)
They blew a 3-run lead earlier in the game too
SOUTHSIDE STAND UP
Bro, I could have hit that hanger
Honestly that’s gotta feel so good for them 😭
The White Sox always win when Chris Flexen takes the mound. Now a 2 start win streak, this level of dominance could bore fans
Love the A’s fans in the front going nuts
Why are there so many people at this game? Honestly it’s embarrassing seeing that many paying customers for such a terrible product. I would never show up to a game for a team that’s 34-115.
Keep lining Jerry’s pockets Sox fans, nothing is going to change.
The fact that they lost 16 in a row at home before this, plus everything else about them this season, yet they have that many fans in the stands is actually pretty impressive.
I know the stadium isn’t close to full but even having a thousand people there at this point in their season would be a lot.
“Well, technically the A’s aren’t eliminated ye…”
Homer happens.
“Ok, they’re officially eliminated.”
first walkoff since april btw, second of the entire year
stoppable force meats moveable object
I mean I feel really good for them, but feel bad because I feel good for them.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Announcer was yelling like they just won the WS
Guess this is equivalent for the White Sox though, it’s actually pretty wholesome
You can put it on the board.. YES!
Those guys deserve a walk-off.
Reinsdorf is the worst but those guys are pros who take pride in their abilities playing baseball. This has to be misery for them.

I didn’t know they were allowed to do that.
Wholesome as fuck honestly
This post title is genuinely hilarious
Victory was never in doubt.
Somehow, the more hyped this dude gets about shit, the more bored I get by White Sox wins.
Worst player on arguably the worst team of all time walks off their division rival to eliminate them from the playoffs.
Baseball.
Don’t let us get hot
All that work by the A’s just so Harris could hurl the biggest meatball of the year to Benintendi lmao
Edit: https://streamable.com/259mo
Worth every penny just for that
You had one job A’s 🙁

C’mon Benintendi, read the script!
Watch them not lose another game
When a stoppable object meets a movable force.
