Steel City Series Win | Bobby Witt Jr. Blasts Off to Another Milestone
Michael Wacha took the mound in the series’ second game and tossed 5.0 innings while allowing 4 hits, 1 run, 3 walks, and striking out 8. Bobby Witt Jr. wasted no time in his first AB and blasted a solo homer to eclipse 100 RBIs on the season. Maikel Garcia added on in the 5th with an RBI double followed by a Witt Jr. sac fly to score Garcia. Freddy Fermin joined in in the 6th with an RBI single to score Michael Massey with Witt Jr. adding one more RBI on the day with a double to score Isbel again. The bullpen shut it down for the final 4 innings as John Schreiber, Sam Long, James McArthur, Kris Bubic, and Lucas Erceg kept the Pirates to one run. The Royals look to sweep the Pirates in Sunday’s series finale.

Recently, I was worried that Bobby's batting average has been declining,
but today was the best result. I hope that Bobby Witt Jr. will be in the best condition
for the postseason after this.
Yeah both teams threw strikes that where called balls.
Why were the pirates announcers glazing that routine play to get Freddy 😂
Why is James McArthur still on this team.
We goin Sizzlin in October
of course they wait to get good after i move to dallas . Regardless happy for the boys in blue!!
