Flags were a killer this game, for both teams. Happy for the win on the road though!
I’m not going to complain about opening a season up 2-0 on the road. Work to be done with the offense. If they can bottle that first half offense and deploy it for 60 minutes week in week out we’ll win 12+ games.

Steelers have managed to produce two of the most Steeler-y games I’ve ever seen
Offense was always gonna be a work in progress, and the first half was mostly positive outside of the penalties, but fuck that was an ugly second half.
Got out of Denver with a win, dealt with a shitty ref crew as well as we could have. 2-0 at the end of the day.
So it’s not Wilsover yet

The penalties have been sloppy but the offense being conservative in the second half is by design. They’re up 10 and they’re playing Bo Nix. They know the only way they lose is if they turn the ball over.
Pickens would be averaging 100 yards a game right now if it weren’t for all the penalties
It hasn’t been pretty, but 2-0 is better than 0-2 (fuck you Baltimore)

Reminder if not for offensive line penalties and a very questionable PI call on Jefferson that wiped away a touchdown, Justin Fields would be over 200 passing yards with 2 TD’s.
Still number 1 in the division baby. Bengals and rave both 0-2 and brown are 1-1.
Felt like the longest game I’ve ever watched and it didn’t even go to OT, a wins a win I suppose.

Fields and Pickens were absolutely stellar but absolutely horrible penalties and a rote run run pass offensive strategy kept the offense from doing a goddamn thing

Interestingly, the Steelers got another (former) punter after losing Johnston. And yet, Waitman still looks better than big chunk Harvin.
Don’t let their record fool you, the Steelers have not solved their QB problem. Fields is ok, but that’s all he is.
