  1. They continue to show fight and heart, and the offense continues to produce, even if they don’t capitalize on all the opportunities.

The bullpen, which has been solid for a long stretch, simply didn’t perform this series. I don’t like it as much as everyone else, but whatever. The trolls can’t complain because they thought the Cubs were out of it in May, and those still hoping for a miracle this month likely didn’t honestly believe it would actually happen anyway.

Kyle ignored the fact they were at Coors today, and pitched really well.

Busch reaching 20 HR should be celebrated. PCA getting 10 HR (and 6 HR since 8/1) is great to see. There are still games to be played, and I for one am looking forward to this team finishing strong, ahead of the Cardinals.

  2. You gotta start looking at the future and PCA and Busch have been great. Looking forward to next year. At least 1B and CF are solidified.

  3. I went to 6 games this year, the 3 in Seattle and the 3 in Denver, and Michael Busch has hit 6 hrs total in those games. I should probably get a Busch jersey.
