  1. Channel isn’t picking up for me. I’m assuming the network hasn’t officially launched yet? Last I heard it wasn’t launching until October 1st.

  2. Awesome.

I had an old MythTV server that I used to use with a cable HDHomeRun Prime and got the 4K Connect from their Kickstarter campaign that had all been gathering dust since I started using Hulu Live. I finally dusted it off, reinstalled everything, crimped a new coax cable for an attic antenna, and have everything working again just in time for this news.

Now… I just hope they dedicate enough bandwidth to 62.2 and 62.3 for at least a 720p stream.

  3. I’m based in central IL. Any guesses on if I’ll be able to pick up a signal down here? Right now I have to use ESPN & VPN for the games but if I can skip that and just use an antenna, I’d prefer to do that.

  4. So, since there are two of them, will they already have an overflow/CHSN 2 channel ready when a Bulls Hawks game is happening simultaneously? Also, what’s on 62.1?

EDIT: I can’t read, and the picture in the post answered my question.

  5. This is great news for Chicagoland viewers. OTA and free, and easy to record with ChannelsDVR and other systems. Dollar Bill must be spinning and cursing in his grave!

Hopefully we “out of marketers” can grab it somewhere somehow, hmmm.

  6. They claim most of Illinois and Iowa but I’m not believing that at all.

I live in Ottawa, about 85 miles west of the city, and we can’t get anything from Chicago OTA.
