  1. Good win. We got through one of the best defenses in the league. Bears are known to give offenses a difficult time. Time to recollect and prepare to play another tough defense in the Vikings.

  2. This is the type of game the Texans would’ve lost last year. Incredible resilience even if it was our own mistakes that caused the issues. Ugly wins count the same as pretty ones.

  5. Slowick and the offense did everything they could to give that game away. Thankfully Ka’imi and the defense were having none of it.

  12. This game turned into a grind which favored Chicago. I’d preferred the more high flying offense to be displayed nationwide but I’d take a ugly win over a pretty loss any day of the week. I’m not expecting them to be in playoff form in game 2.

  29. Sloppy game offensively but that will get ironed out. That Bears defense is going to keep them in a lot of games. Our defense is legit as well. Just happy to be 2-0 while the rest of the division is 0-2.

  32. Caleb’s elusiveness reminds me of prime Deshaun. Bears got a good one.

    Feels like we should’ve won by more, but I’ll always take the dub.

  33. Amazing showing by the defense. Someone other than Collins has to get involved in the passing game.

  34. Good teams find ways to win sloppy games. Refs also were killing any momentum but we didn’t do any favors. Onto week 3.

  35. The Good:
    – Everything defense. We picked off Caleb Williams twice, kept them on their side of the field, and came up with big plays (sacks!) when we needed. Excellent bounce-back from last week.
    – Other than a couple bad passes, Stroud had a more consistent game than last week.
    – Ka’imi might be the best kicker in the league.
    – Great first half from Nico Collins.

    The Bad:
    – Our running game, after looking spectacular last week, did not show up.
    – Our pass blocking was much the same from last week, though Tunsil and Howard played better.

    The Ugly:
    – Our second-half offense was totally anemic. It has to be better going forward.
    – We had way too many penalties tonight. It was completely unserious.

    It was a defensive slugfest, but we came out on top. I hope the offense can pick it up, but our defense was legit and you can’t be mad about that.

  37. Eventually just preemptively threw my hands in the air every time something good happened to the Texans expecting a flag, some of them were just a bit boneheaded.
