   Plus if the Crew sweeps the D-Backs it puts Arizona in a precarious wild card spot. I'd just as not play the D-Backs in the playoffs.

11. The Diamondbacks have the 4th worst pitching in all of baseball, only ahead of the 3 most terrible teams in the league: Marlins, White Sox, Rockies. They are also one of the top favorites to make it to the playoffs in October. Wild.

12. We really needed that win! Hoping for at least a 2-2 split in the upcoming series against them.

13. As a padres fan I was angrily happy yall dug deep to pull this win out. Just shows the quality of our two teams and how they really are elevating each other. These performances gotta light a fire in the clubhouse.

    The dodgers may be a billion dollar team but we both have teams worth that but for different reasons.

26. Sounds like work load management on Devin…. Okay you want him healthy for the playoffs. But also you are playing for the bye.

    At this stage you go for the win this late in the season. How you manage in the middle of the season and how you manage late in the season/playoffs is very different.

    Murphy has done a phenomenal job so far. If he learns from this mistake, then great. But I hope they don’t miss the bye by one game. That would be terrible
