  1. Sucks that we couldn’t get it done, but if anything Dana definitely needs more time done in rct/slc, always a risk promoting young arms, he throws lots of strikes, but his fastball is very hittable, but he needs to command the outer 3rd of the zone. I’d probably demote him.

However, injuries are hurting the system a lot more because Moniak and aldegheri will be on the shelf and our system is not deep enough. We need to just play the salt lake bees right now. And most of them would be dfa’d by November. I recall saying that the 40man had too many people that shouldn’t be there, the problem is now there’s not enough people in the minors to play and in November, those guys will be off the team, and where’s the depth now? Just cycling every through guys every year to find someone that can play to be a depth piece or 2.

Whoever is the conditioning and strengthening coach is next year, they need to have a plan, like stretching properly, or running treadmill for __ time, or eating properly (except for Neto lol), and I want wash to get the infielders in the offseason the drills that made people elite infielders. Lowkey could be a sneaky infield next season with o-hoppe-schanuel-Moore-Neto-geefy next season, but a lot of what-ifs, and the other problem is, we don’t know how good this team can be when everybody’s healthy, and I hope that perry is smart and gets rid of the right guys.

  2. The Angels have the opportunity to bring in younger guys to face seasoned players, some need marinating and a rare few don’t. But the Angels should absolutely take advantage of being a crappy team and give them a chance!

  3. Another off season filled with false promises and Free Agents we almost had. Thank you Arte for your unfinished business. We will have a lot of giveaways during the season next year so come watch this team!! Nothing will change sadly 😢

  4. Can't believe you guys didn't talk about WakaWakaman finally donning an Angels jersey. With the exit velo that he's smashing that balls, if he had borrowed Ohtani's bat, he might send them all the way to the Anaheim Packing District!

  5. Good morning gentlemen. I totally agree that the Angels should bring up the young guys instead of bringing in horrible veterans who we already know are going to give up a bunch of hits and a bunch of runs. Let’s see as many of the young pitchers, especially the pitchers as we can. Give them the experience they need to thrive in the future future in the big leagues.

  6. Somehow, I think the Angels discreetly lost this series just to give a middle finger to the Mariners that we will lose to every division rivals except them.

  7. 50 players are on the 40-man (10 on 60-day IL) with five expiring contracts or likely cuts at the end of the year (Moore, Strickland, Pillar, Leblanc, Lopez). Who else is likely getting dfa'd? Suarez, Canning? If we bring anyone else up by moving more players to the 60-day, Angels will have more players to dfa. Could be some tough cuts

  8. I think this off-season you need to delve into the topic of whether the players respect Perry. If the organization lacks a leader that instills the kind of fear or discipline to perform. It seems like 1) Jo Adell had to be convinced over and over to change his stance, 2) pitchers needing to be told over and over to their strikes (stats not supporting result) and 3) the constant need of a ton of vets to hold young players accountable. I highly doubt that guys like Dombrowski, Cashman, Friedman need to do consistently convince young guys with no experience in the pro game to do what the coaches are telling them. Now we have Dana who is tipping pitches as described by internet nerds. Wouldn’t be surprised if the org people sent Dana up to majors to get hit around, to prove a point to improve on that. Finally, very poor at-bats in crucial moments. I just feel that the org is so player “friendly” that they’re not worried enough to get better. No sense of urgency.

  9. I think at this point i. The season, we're all tired from the losses that could have been wins and getting the run around from the front office. Also, anyone not watching this on YouTube is missing out because Jon, your face when Mike was talking about Suarez in the starting rotation had me cackling. It was the face of a thousand Angels fans screaming out in incredulity. 😂

  10. If saurez doesn’t get non-tendered this off-season I’m gonna cry:( even is “good years” in ‘21 and ‘22 really weren’t that good if you like at the underlying numbers especially the games he started those years. Saurez at best is a long reliever/ low leverage reliever. I don’t understand why the angels refuse to move on from him
