Got him back for 8.7 (of course) for 2 more years. Hopefully he retires a penguin.
Wait so he isn’t joining his BFF in Colorado to chase one last cup? And instead extended with the only franchise he ever played for having won almost everything in hockey? Nobody saw this coming. Not a single body.
Good we don’t have to put up with any Crosby trade rumors.
Funny how the story says he has “10004” assists….twice!

Crosby is 10 times the player and person that Marner is but Mitch will want $4M a year more than Sid. smh
I hope he enjoys these years and the pens can make a decent run. Love ya Sid!

Congrats to him.
Bittersweet, happy for him and the Penguins but its unfortunate we have maybe seen the last of him the post season
His legacy will be far greater if he finishes his career on the same team that drafted him. He’s won everything they have a trophy for, now he just has to stay put and he’ll get into the HoF at the first attempt.
Crosby continues to show why he’ll be in the HHOF as one of the greatest captains in history. What dedication to the franchise that drafted him.
As a millennial, I can’t imagine working for the same employer for 20 years… Dang!
