Aiyuk and Jennings are the only one’s actually getting open; look at the offense right now ; and tell me how in any way we would have been better by NOT signing Aiyuk ?
Deebo gets zero seperation and isn’t the same since he carried us; Aiyuk is rusty; but what’s Deebo’s excuse ?
I mean when you get two practices in before week 1, it’s to be expected.
What’s more likely BA slow start is based off missing all of camp or BA is tanking under the pressure of being paid?
As a fun Reminder the Niners decided to add money to CMC’s contract int he off-season and he hasn’t played a single snap this year; no backlash on that move ?
Trent Williams held out and demanded more money and gave up 2 sacks last week; after we made him the highest paid LT in the league and ALREADY had a contract

To be a little fair Minnesota was focused on closing off the middle of the field.
Did You notice how almost every throw over the middle to whoever it was to was barely completed?
Our bred and butter is the play action and hitting WR over the middle and Minnesota sold out to close off the middle.

That being said, people are overreacting to a week 2 loss. Teams don’t go undefeated.

I am not worried. We lost a couple of gamble plays, they got a couple of big plays. The game could have easily been 30-10 victory for the 49ers.
The only thing I would be worried about was how hard it was for Deebo to get open and how we really need CMC to get healthy for the end of the season.

People need to calm down. Homie is rusty. Yeah it’s his fault for skipping training camp but it was part of negotiations.
He won’t be the last guy to holdout for his contract. I figure it’ll take a few more games to shake things off and be the BA that earned that contract.
Bosa wasn’t exactly blowing us away after holding out for his contract. You could argue it was a below average year for him to be honest.
