Which Division Has the Best Collection of Ballparks?

  1. Gotta agree with the other responses that the NL West has the strongest case.

Beyond that, I’d say probably NL Central. I’ve never been to GABP but it looks pretty nice. Miller Park is fine & has some quirks. Then you have Wrigley, PNC, & Busch which are all top tier parks in their own ways.

  2. ###NL West:

    Dodger Stadium is ICONIC

    Oracle Park is BEAUTIFUL

    Petco Park is OUTSTANDING

    Chase Field

    Coors Field is FANTASTIC

  3. NL West is too clearly the answer. Worst might be a more interesting question but even then I feel like the AL West might too easily take that one.

  4. Biased opinion? NL Central

    Unbiased opinion? NL Central

Wrigley, PNC, Busch, Great American. Does any other division have 4 ballparks that are as highly talked about as these?

  5. NL Central easy. PNC is the best stadium in the majors, and GABP is beautiful (even if it is smaller than a bread box), Wrigley is Wrigley and only Fenway comes close as far as historic parks, new Busch looks nice but have never been, and Miller looks like an actual good roofed stadium.

The NL West is tanked hard by Chase being just a warehouse, and Dodger’s Stadium has the history, but none of the charm of Wrigley. ATT, Coors, and PETCO are great parks though.

AL Central has the same issue with Comiskey killing the overall ranking.

NL East has LoanDepot, so yeah.

    AL East, the Trop exists.

AL West, the A’s stadium might actually be upgrading by going to a AAA park.

  6. NL West has Oracle, Petco, and Coors.

But probably the NL Central because the other 2 stadiums in our division aren’t good.

  7. NL West or NL Central

I haven’t been to Pittsburgh, Milwaukee, or Phoenix, but I’ve been to every other stadium in those divisions and they’re all amazing.

  8. I realize it doesn’t change a whole lot but can we get some updated pictures? A lot of these ballparks have undergone some pretty significant renovations.

  9. I quite like the AL Central. Cleveland, Chicago, Detroit, and Minnesota all have an industrial feel very characteristic of the Midwest, and Chicago and Kansas City both are built in the mid-20th century “modern” style, giving a bit of a throwback to the days of the baseball movies of that time.

  10. Nl central has my vote. PIT and CIN have those river views and STL has the arch view. Wrigley obviously has the history and old charm angle, and for my money, MIL is the best looking retractable roof stadium in the sport

  11. My initial thoughts were NL Central and NL West.

NL East is decent all-around but brought down a little in my mind by Marlins Park.

AL East has Fenway which is iconic and Camden Yards which is top 5 from everything I hear, but I can’t in good conscience consider them with the Trop in their mix.

The NL Central has an iconic park in Wrigley, two highly rated views with PNC and Busch, and GABP and Miller are serviceable from what I’ve seen.

The AL Central is just all-around average, but I will say, having never been there, that Kauffman looks quite nice.

The NL West has Dodger Stadium which is iconic at this point, Petco and Chase are nice modern stadiums, Petco and Oracle have nice views, and Miller looks good from what I’ve seen too.

My AL West is probably last or close to it. Oakland (and wherever they move next before Vegas) is fighting with the Trop for last. My Angels also have a pretty underwhelming and old stadium that would be worst in the divison if not for the A’s. T-Mobile and Globe Life are nice looking though, but don’t offer anything extra like a view of the city to put them over other divisions. Minute Maid is also just average seeming to me.

If I had to rank them:

    1) NL West

    2) NL Central

    3) AL Central

    4) AL East

    5) NL East

    6) AL West

(I’ve only seen games at Angel Stadium, Dodger Stadium, Petco, Citizens Bank Park, US Cellular, Chase Field, Busch, Oakland Alameda, PNC, Yankee Stadium, Rogers Centre, and Target Field. I saw a football game at AT&T though.)

  12. I know I’m biased as a Cubs fan, but having Wrigley, GABP, and PNC all in the same division is pretty fuckin dope (I also don’t hate AmFam, it’s nice enough. Legally I cannot say anything good about Busch Stadium or the team that plays there).

  13. Gotta be NL Central. PNC has a fantastic view as does GABP, Wrigley is a classic and I can’t speak to AmFam, but it looks nice though.
