The offense drove me crazy this game, as they continue to do game by game. It was incredibly risky and the masochist in me would’ve loved to know what Luis Torrens in the infield would’ve looked like in the next inning, but I actually like the move to pinch run bader. To me it says, we better win this game right now, we’re the better team. No excuses.

The New York Mets are about to face two lefties in a row & I would much rather see Harrison Bader in the line-up against the lefties than Brandon Nimmo. Look at how MF clutch Bader was as a member of the Yankees in the playoffs some years ago. Bader can come up huge in these spots & Nimmo clearly can not unless they begin to count foul balls that were hit right on the nose.
