  1. Still you get these losers saying to fire McDermott. He keeps us competitive through roster turnover and coaching changes. How many other teams lose a coordinator, lose a star player and have a dip in production the very next season? Not McDermott.

    It’s truly a miracle what he’s able to do with just the injuries to the defense over the past couple seasons.

    If people wanna complain about not getting past KC in the playoffs that’s fine but firing McDermott won’t change that.

    I’m riding with Beane and McDermott till the fuckin wheels fall off.

  2. Season after season of keeping it close and not getting blown out, never having an off day, not letting injuries and turnovers pile up into mistakes. Not getting deflated while trailing and losing the fight like we just saw from Miami

    That really is super impressive!

    It’s always win big or lose small with them. They just need to stop saving their worst game of the season for the playoffs, ha ha

  3. I’m a dolphins fan and I’m sick of McDaniel. He’s a play designer and nothing more. I actually hope the Bills win it all this year. Unfortunately due to Tua’s concussion issues and a bunch of bad contracts the phins won’t contend anytime soon. I was really excited about the season and now it’s all over already. The Bills are a very good team. Stay healthy and dethrone the chiefs please.

  5. I’ve said for the past 20 years, even pre-McDaniel, the “new” Dolphins were a fraud waiting to be exposed.

    The last few years they proved decisively they can beat up on bad teams, early in the season, and the NFL obliged them with very easy schedules for the last three years with patsies for the first half…when they finally got a decent (not ‘Great!’) QB….heck last year they stupidly hung 70 points on Denver “proving” they were invincible (in their minds!)the week before they crashed!

    This year they just got “exposed” by a good team early in the season, now they suffer.

  7. I’ve been a Bills fan since I was 8 years old in 1966…been through the Hank Bullough and “Ground Chuck” days, and yeah even the “OJ Right, OJ left, OJ up the middle…punt” days…

    Many people who are “bitching” about McD came of age or became fans in the late 80’s early 90’s with Marv, Jimbo and the 4 SBs in a row and somehow thought those years were “normal.”

    I remember many years I would’ve been happy with a 2-12 or later 2-14 season as long as the two wins were the Fish!😉

  8. McD is respected by the team, which should be reason enough to stick around. But how many other head coaches could turn this defense into something workable?

    I’d wager very few.
