We have our franchise quarterback

We have our franchise quarterback

  1. After 10 years with The Bucs, hall of fame quarterback Baker Mayfield retires with 2 Super Bowl Rings, and the franchise record in passing yards and touchdowns.

  2. I was worried when brady retired we would go back to the cycle of having to draft a potential franchise qb. It’s wild that we found our qb In the same off-season when brady retired.

  3. Two of Baker’s best wins, the Jets debut and the Raiders win right off the plane with the Rams, don’t count on his w/l record because he didn’t start. Even though he literally won them both of those games.

He’s really 48-49 and should hopefully be back above .500 and never look back this year.

  4. I love Baker and hope he does amazing things with us but saying he’ll end up like Drew Brees is a stretch. Let’s give it a couple more years

  5. Franchise QB? I’m not sure, he’s still 29. But he can be my starting QB until he’s 32. And if both sides want to go to 35, I’m ok with that too. But 7 years does not make a franchise QB unless multiple titles are won.

  6. i’m not a smart man so unless i’m counting wrong, baker only has 91 games played. sooo .. weird graphic

  7. I think the difference in records shows how much qb has improved over the past decades. Average level of play is much higher now, takes more out of a qb to win games
