What Toronto Maple Leafs’ questions should be asked as training camp opens?
The Toronto Maple Leafs get set for training camp with media day opening things up as we get to hear some questions, hopefully, answered before players hit the ice. Mike DiStefano and David Morassutti go through who we should expect to see and hear from, including Brendan Shanahan, which is a rare occasion, and both share some questions they would ask the Leafs president if they were in attendance on media day. They move on to questions they would consider asking Brad Treliving, and certain players who will likely speak. They finish off by looking at what they would ask Craig Berube and discuss whether Mitch Marner would ever be a candidate to play centre at any point this season and an answer to the missing Os mystery.

Don't stress on the playoffs so much. This team is a playoff team. Tavares will still be able to score 20+ goals, Marner will get 100 points, Nylander will score 40 and Matthews 50+ even with a more discipline approach Berube is supposed to take. There are many fans whose would be happy to have their team in that position.
Not that I believe the Leafs will be successful in the playoffs, but do you remember when Brian Burke said he didn't want his team to limp into the playoffs as an 8th place team in the year the Kings won the Cup as an 8th placed team. In the playoffs anything can happen.

How the top 6 players respond to the new coach will determine how successful the Leafs will be.
Same core, same results, no way Berube gets the core to play "Heavy", they will have to pay a price in the playoffs to advance, I can't see it. The D may be slightly better but is more brittle, Tanev brings Muzzin's skillset, so I don't see how that breaks a circle, goal is a ???. I'll cheer" but my passion for this team is at a low point.
Marner's gonna light it up this year. And the Leafs will end up paying more. Like Nylander
