Blue Jackets announce preliminary plans to remember Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau | Columbus Blue Jackets

13 needs to be in the rafters this season. Both here and in Calgary.
That memorial at the opener is going to be tough.
13 to the rafters. Carbon copy what Calgary did with the memorial items. Start the season off with four guys for the opening faceoff (left wing left empty).
We can also rename the Lady Byng award in his honor.
Just got my tickets for opening night. I’m excited and sad all at once
wonder if security will make an exception for my costco sized box of tissues i’m going to need for this event….
Happy they will be doing something to honor them but man this is going to be brutal emotionally.
I hope they’re planning to retire 13. Perhaps they’ll wait and make it during a later date, such as the day we host Calgary.
