  1. If this guy wasn’t on our roster last season we’d be in the World Series idc what anyone says

  2. Wow…Kimbrel didn’t even last a year with the O’s. And their new closer is Seranthony Dominguez.

  3. At least they were smart enough to realize what everyone else did before the playoffs unlike the Phillies last year

  4. I don’t hate him like the rest of the fanbase does. It’s not his fault we overused him during the season and come the postseason he was gassed and worn out.

  5. Remember those two months when he was the best closer in baseball with like a sub-1 ERA…..

…nah… me neither…. Good job Os.

It’s hard to blame Kimbrel himself though. It’s not his fault teams keep paying him.

  6. Honestly I’m surprised he lasted this long. Don’t hate the guy…he’s just not a closer anymore.

  7. He was good for us until the playoffs idc what the haters say. Some jabroni team will give him another shot next year but he’s giving washed at this point ngl

  8. “Former Player News” is a thing now, huh…

A month ago I had my Jean Segura signs with Baltimore thread locked and shut down within minutes. Mod was hardcore adamant that we don’t discuss other teams’ general transactions – “Phillies-relevant” only. Is this tag new, or was someone just having a day last month and took it out on me?

  9. If the Phillies win tonight or the Mets lose tonight the first Win of the Mets series will be the NL East clincher.

  10. If Craig wants a chance to pitch in the postseason this year, he’ll have to accept an assignment to Norfolk for what’s left of 2024. If not, then I guess he’s going home. I can’t see any contending team signing him right now, but he should still get modest-money offers as a setup guy this off-season…

  11. He should just sign his next contract until after the AS break next year, dude can only be good for half a season now
