Crazy, that 4th pick was traded to the hawks by the pelicans essentially swapping Deandre Hunter and Jaxson Hayes. Now we have Hayes
I still remember Magic’s offer for AD lol…
Western Conference Finals 2x, Championship 1x. Compared that to the Pels. 🤷🏻♂️
We definitely won that trade.
On a dark note, on the day of Kobe’s accident I didn’t believe it until Woj confirmed it.
The Pelicans have won a whopping two playoff games since the trade how pathetic 🤣
The trading away westbrook was pretty important too, although not sure if woj broke the news
Who did those picks turn into ?
I disagreed in the moment. There’s times where I wish we let them evolve. But banners fly forever and that’s the goal. Any move in service of a title in a win. Period. Full stop.
