2. Obviously rooting for the whole team, but I'm really rooting for Sean the most this season.

3. I’m cheering hard for these guys. I hope they are able to attract some great talent as a way to commemorate Johnny Hockey. This team has had some tough years.

6. I know the relationship between sports journalists and athletes that can only manage some canned answers is a rocky one, but could we leave the Gaudreau questions off of Monahan? I think I’d lose it if halfway through the season they’re still asking the man about losing his best friend right before hockey season starts.

7. I’m going to keep repeating this, I heard someone say, “The greatest gift to Matthew, Johnny and the Gaudreau Family, is If the world learns how they lived their life and we all improved our lives as a result”. Godspeed to that big hockey rink in the sky.

13. I hope that Elvis can be a support system for Sean, he also lost his best friend due to tragic circumstances. Yes they are suffering as a team, losing a teammate, but they both lost a best friend.
    Johnny will live on inside the hearts of those who knew and loved him ♥️ 💙
