21. 12:19 Captain Morgan!! He should have been the Captain to pass the torch off to Mathews and not John. Morgan had earned the Captaincy when Tavares was signed…. I like Tavares as a player but I think the signing and the trade of Kadri, Hyman, and Bunts was a mistake.

23. Imagine if Marner took less to stay in Toronto like Crosby did in Pittsburgh. Mitch has the chance to really show that he wants to stay in Toronto and really wants to win. He's made a lot of money already and will make more than he or his family will ever need. Time to use your actions instead of words. The fans of this team would all jump on his side, it's not that hard.

24. No disrespect to Auston or John, but Rielly has always sounded like a captain to me. One of the more grounded, pragmatic Leafs I've seen in recent years. Let's see what Chief can do to get these guys playing in such a manner, that other teams coming to play them know they're going to have their hands full regardless of whether it's on the road or in Toronto.
