Tom Fitzgerald was drafted 17th overall by the New York Islanders in 1986. The first Captain of the Nashville Predators would play 307 games, scoring 42 goals and tallying 46 assists. He played 1,097 games over the span of 17 years, scoring 139 goals and tallying 190 assists for a total 329 points. He is currently the President of Hockey Operations and General Manager of the New Jersey Devils.

Andreas Johansson was drafted 136th overall by the New York Islanders in 1991. He would play 103 games for the Preds, scoring 32 goals and 32 assists.

Peter Forsberg was drafted 6th overall by the Philadelphia Flyers in 1991. Due to his limited time in Nashville, I won't be covering his full history as almost everyone knows who he is and it would take forever. The Hall of Famer and 2x Stanley Cup Champion would play just 17 games for Nashville, scoring 2 goals and 13 assists. In 2017 he was named as one of the 100 Greatest Players in NHL History.

Triston Grant was drafted 286th overall by the Philadelphia Flyers in 2004. He would play 3 games for Nashville.

Zack Stortini was drafted 94th overall by the Edmonton Oilers in 2003. He played in just 1 game for the Preds.

Simon Moser went undrafted and would play 6 games for Nashville, scoring a goal and assist. He would reject an offer to come back to the team so he could return to his native Switzerland.

Derek Roy was drafted 32nd overall by the Buffalo Sabres in 2001. He would play 26 games for the Preds, scoring a goal and 9 assists.

Corey Potter was drafted 122nd overall by the New York Rangers in 2003. He would play just 1 game for Nashville.

Nick Cousins was drafted 68th overall by the Philadelphia Flyers in 2011. He played 120 games for Nashville, scoring 14 goals and 26 assists. I don't know what was different about his time with the Preds, but he is now one of the most hated players in the league.

Anthony Beauvillier was drafted 28th overall by the New York Islanders in 2015. He would play 15 games for Nashville, scoring a goal and 2 assists. On July 1st of this year he signed a 1-year $1.25 million contract with the Pittsburgh Penguins.
