  1. You know this year kind of sucked for us but I can’t imagine what being a Mariners fan is like. Wow.

  2. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like this before.

Also thank you for posting this with the replay so people know what actually happened.

  3. Julio’s catching a lot of shit for this, and I get it. But at the same time, it’s hard not to see it from his view.

When you’re trying to not get your head taken off, the last thing you’re thinking is that the ball is still live.

  4. That long silence was Dave checking his emails to see if the Yankees got back to him about that job opening.

  5. I already gave up on the season more times than I could count but this stings. Holy fuck that’s unbelievable

  6. Why is Randy’s bat control in the second half of his swing so bad? He hit our catcher with a backswing twice last year.

  7. Awful by Julio…but maybe Randy holds onto the bat for once? So many times in less than two months have his swings ended with him empty-handed…

  8. I’m excited to see what dumb shit they do tomorrow afternoon. Robles tried to steal home with the bases loaded and Turner had an 0-3 count last night. Then Julio being a dumbass today. It will have to be a triple play TOOTBLAN tomorrow right?

  9. Its funny because I feel like everybody would be on Julio’s side if he was picked off due to jumping out of the way and Wells *immediately* threw it to third, but Wells actually took like 5 seconds to throw the ball and Julio had more then ample opportunity to get back lol

  10. Ok sure I can cut him some slack for being shaken up by the bat flying at him and all, but the dude takes like an extra 6 steps towards the dugout after the bats already passed him. Even if he did assume it was a dead ball where tf is he going? It’s like he was *trying* to get himself thrown out.

  11. I’m kinda sympathetic, after his secondary he’s like 80 feet from a wooden pole flying at high velocity right at him unexpectedly and that usually only happens when the ball has been hit. No way in my mind is this the “worst blunder” – so many worse brain farts in routine situations not caused by actual reasonable unexpected momentary fear of death.
