  1. Kerr can’t hide behind this good and noble guy act and let shit like this good. Green basically got no real punishment for what he did… he should be in jail.

  2. imagine green attacks poole, but jordan pulls a switchblade and stabs him in self defense. the nba world would explode.

  3. How long until guys who have played literally any level of basketball come in here and explain that it’s totally normal for a 9-year vet (and leader on the team) to tell a guy in his second year that he’s going to assault him

  4. It should be a no brainer to give an exemplary punishment to green after he ko’d and basically stole Poole bbal ability.

  5. Easily the worst player to get such special treatment from everyone surrounding him. I can’t wait til he is gone and I’m genuinely happy that TNT is going away if it means Draymond doesn’t show up on my TV ever again.

  6. Ayyy he’s just a man of his word lol. But on a serious note, who went back to find this interaction and also lip read draymond green to see if there was anything there

  7. Draymond is intolerable imagine being at your work place and receiving these threats. Then later on being physically abused by your coworker and he isn’t let go and you have to find a new job.

  8. No ones gonna bring up that stupid ass editing to start? Why does it need to replay Draymond standing up 3 times?

  9. Bullies are so fucking pathetic. 100% this is the same type that will cower as soon as a legit fighter is next to him. Either u cannot fight, or u stop the bullshit. No NBA player can fight except james johnson. And guess what, Draymond would never pull that shit on him. Pathetic bitch. Go do martial arts or shut the fuck up.

  10. Get ready for the Draymond media washing over the next decade everyone.

This entire incident will become the Tiananmen Square of whatever media company he lands with post-NBA career.

  11. The reaction in this thread as well as a thread a few weeks ago about Jordan Poole says a lot about the people in this sub. What it says is that a lot of y’all think talking shit should have no consequences and that’s not how the real world works.

Jordan Poole was a known shit talker and he got on everybody’s nerves so the fact that he got knocked out and you’re not seeing any sympathy makes sense. At some point, and that’s something I think a lot of people in here don’t understand because of how anonymous Reddit is, you are going to have to put up or shut up so to speak.

  12. Warriors fan here, ive been wanting to trade dray for years, even if that means less titles. I dont want to root for this toxic ass fool

  13. In the beginning Steph instinctively tries to grab him like a canine who just saw another one and his about to raise hell. You can tell he just used to this.

  14. Any other job dude would be doing jail time for assault. Fuck him. That’s no way to behave.

  15. The end of Green’s career is going to get ugly. The team puts up with him because he’s useful on the court but once we loses a step and his playtime goes down he’s going to lash out and make a fool of himself.

  16. Kerr just lets it happen, draymond could fuck Kerrs wife and he’d probably have an excuse as to why

  17. Unreal this dude has been allowed to behave like this and has only received positive reenforcement. This dude is going to beat the hell out of his wife one day and everyone around him is going to act dumbfounded like there hasn’t been signs he’s a mental case for years.

  18. The Warriors should change their name to The Enablers, the punch was just the culmination of their misguided handling of Draymond over the years.

  19. The TNT pre-game mini-doc where he tried making himself the victim will always be my favorite thing.

  20. Then they wonder why Klay left….sure he got rings but the dynamics in the locker room is dysfunctional. Dude wanted to play ball not be UFC ref holding green back from punching dudes out.

  21. funniest thing r/nba did was allow the “nah this is just how get athletes down” narrative to be conflated with their personal dislike of poole lol

this community (and website) would support *any* sort of assault if they dislike the victim enough

hell, this is only an issue because dray is notoriously an asshole & reddit already caters to righteousness addicts, it’s a perfect storm for performative concern

locker room abuse runs rampant in the NBA, just like most sporting leagues, they just have the means to usually squash a story quickly, like most sporting leagues.

powerful institutions have the means to control narratives & their supporters will believe whatever makes them comfortable at the end of the day

  22. Draymond Green’s intensity and emotional outbursts are well-documented, but this kind of behavior crosses the line. It’s important for athletes to channel their competitive drive into positive actions and maintain professionalism.

  23. Doesn’t he do this, like, at least three times a year? I’m pretty sure he threatens to beat one of his teammates in a huddle per month in the spring. Not that that’s a good thing…

  24. Crazy that it’s possible to say stuff like this in public to a coworker and get away with it.

    They traded away Poole.
