Easy answer is Cade. You draft a guy #1 & don't put the pieces around him to succeed. Ivey would be 2nd choice. The year he came out, it was a draft heavy in bigs & wing players. There were no guards really being mentioned other than him & maybe Sharpe? Questions of if he was a PG or SG or scoring PG were legitimate. I can understand those who say him considering the Monty dynamic & being relegated to a backup role behind Killian the 1st half of the season. Enough of that, yes it was bad coaching & not in the best interest of the player or the team.
