  1. > There is a **widespread belief among league personnel** that the Warriors will be aggressive in their pursuit

So this article is a whole lot of nothing (and yes I actually read it) that have no direct reporting connections to the Warriors themselves using the obvious/previously known & reported targets (like Lebron, Giannis, & Butler) who all have some form of a meh team situations themselves making it easy to speculate

  2. Pursuing them is one thing. Actually landing one is a completely different story. We’ve heard all about how we’re interested in these players but words mean nothing. Hopefully we can see action instead.

  3. Honestly I hope our guys will be good enough where we won’t have to gut the team to get another superstar.

Teams >>> Players in this era. In 2017 we could get away with it since the new CBA wasn’t a thing, player salaries weren’t through the roof, and everybody was in their prime. The strategy has obviously changed and I’m in the camp of trying to recreate that 2022 model.

Lebron is staying in LA. And they got his son over there along with his business ventures.

Do we have 60M worth of salary to move for Giannis and be significantly better? I don’t think so.

  4. I mean…if we aren’t going to pay Kuminga. Trade him and get someone now then? Lotta fucking around from this front office…(though I like their offseason moves still)

  5. I mean, this kind of makes sense, that’s why they got below the second apron and are going to run with this current team. They have some guys locked up for years and will give the young guys some visibility to make them more valuable trade assets.

I can see a situation where Milwaukee or LA are ready to rebuild and we might have the young assets to make such an offer for either.

I honestly would love to see a Lebron/Curry/KD Olympics reunion tour for a year or two before they all call it quits.

  6. I’m not surprised that the Warriors are going big name hunting. It’s what they do. Basketball more than any other sport can be influenced by one player.

LeBron has no chance of happening with Bronny being a Laker. And Giannis seems perfectly content in Milwaukee.

This may be controversial, but I also think you’re seeing some signs of him starting to break down.

Frankly, I don’t see a star likely, but I see KD more likely than either of them

  7. Lebrons not leaving and he’ll likely retire in la, Giannis isn’t leaving in the middle of season, and even then you’d have to gut ur roster to get him.

  8. Our starting lineup about to be Steph, LeBron, Giannis, Dray, & Bronny. 41-41 regular season, 16-0 playoffs.

  9. Here’s an insane take.

LeBron plays the first half of the year in LA so he can say he played with his son. Then we get him in a trade that involves Kumingod, Podz and picks.

Then he can say he also played against his son.

  10. We’re about 4 weeks away folks – can we just calm down with the bullshit? Deadline isn’t til February- it’s highly unlikely anything will happen before then anyway. We are a desperate lot it seems to me. Have faith that the roster we have will surprise us!

  11. If a superstar’s team disappoints; then Warriors will use the new FA’s contracts (when eligible) , JK, and picks to try and get him.

  12. More likely they are tanking for Cooper Flagg. That’s normally what a 10th place team does.

  13. This just in – Warriors want the NBA top players and the sky is still blue and the ocean still wet.

  14. I fully believe brons final year will be in Golden State.

He will get to play with bronny and then go to the bay and reunite with Steph for his farewell tour.

  15. All of this is just noise meant to satiate the fans who are pissed they didn’t accomplish their mission of getting top end talent this summer. I too am expected to continue my pursuit of high level dates this season. Ana De Armas, Margot Robbie, and more find themselves on my wish list.

  16. “They will aggressively pursue high level talent by not including Podziemski or Kuminga but aggressively offering Moody only in any trade package”

  17. Lol. Somebody call me when we get another top 10 player on this team. Maybe Milwaukee wants buddy and melton.
