  1. “*You walked someone to face me? That was a mistake.*” – Singleton

We were fortunate to get another pitch that might have struck Jon out looking, but he didn’t miss his pitch to hit that gave us the lead.

Kikuchi only made one mistake, but looked solid yet again and the bullpen followed him and did their job shutting the game down.

    Magic Number: **5**

  2. At this point I’m kind of hoping we lose a Kikuchi start before the PS just to get it out of the way but…NAH.

  3. Sluggish bats. Still got the win. It’s ok I’m going tomorrow—my record is 5-1 in attendance 😎

  4. About a month and a half ago, Dana Brown made a trade that would earn the ire of an entire fanbase.

    Let Dana Cook, y’all.

  5. Kikuchi had the best performance of any Japanese player on this day. No other Japanese player had a better day than Kikuchi did. No other.

  6. Mariners sub complaining about ump screwing the Angels on that ball call to Big Jon. Yes it was a gift, but if they only knew how many of those calls never go our way!
Kikuchi wasn’t as sharp as he usually is but still had 9Ks and we are still undefeated when he starts!
    A win is a win!

  7. After all that, we won. Hopefully tomorrow will be more energetic and fun.
A no,decision, for Kikuchi, but not a loss; great performance !

  8. Glad we won, but 3-17 from the top 6 of our lineup…oof. They need to figure some things out.

  9. Let’s win tomorrow, and let’s see those bats come alive ! So,so many “almost” HR’s at the warning track. Let’s get em over !

  10. John Singleton is my first baseman. If he keeps fucking around, I’m buying his jersey!! LFG, ASTROS!!!!!
