  1. Shams don’t even gotta fight with woj for this info anymore. Prolly got it four minutes ago, took a fat dump and then decided to tweet it

  2. Damn atleast Embiid is loyal, if this upcoming year didn’t work out I thought he would request a trade. But seems like he is planning on staying here for a while.

  3. In a league where players are all about “What have you done for me lately?”, I gotta respect Biid for his undying loyalty to Philly. No doubt in my mind he’s retiring a Sixer, even if it means no ring.

  4. All he needs is one healthy playoff run with some good supporting cast and a bit of good luck mixed in.

  5. Romona Shelburne reported this as well for ESPN.

It looks like she is replacing Woj in breaking NBA news. I imagine she will either be a permanent replacement or until they ESPN get another major reporter like Shams or Chris Haynes, who are both free agents very soon.

  6. And just like that the Sixers extend their window of selling their team to fans as fake contenders and not making it past the semis.

  7. I wonder how Woj was feeling after he heard the news and knew he didn’t have to make a tweet and bunch of calls

  8. Embiid is amazing but it won’t work out. Injury history should be the deciding factor in his future contracts and he ain’t getting younger. Oh well, lock him down Philly 🤷🏿‍♂️

  9. While there’s been plenty of ups and downs and people love to clown on him, I’ll never not love Embiid for his undying loyalty to Philly. Especially considering we’ve seen plenty of people including teammates run from Philly because it can be a tough place to play. Happy I get to watch his career on my team.
