  2. Just what are we doing man. This fan base is such a Two-Face. At one point we’re praising him, and then we chase this man out of his house, BECAUSE OF ONE GAME! Now we are going to be the only fan base to literally chase a head coach out of his house. So disappointed!

  12. Detroit has been waiting since 1957(year I was born) for a championship. Fans should not harass anybody, anytime, on the other hand. Campbell's mistake right before half time against the bucs, will go down in Lion history, as one of the dumbest mistakes, by a Lion headcoach. The mindset of Lions fans is simple. They will not tolerate a loser. In the movie "Patton" starring George C. Scott(won the oscar 1970) Patton said, "If we are not victorious, let no one, come back alive"!

  23. This is a completely reprehensible story it makes me sick that people are so ignorant. Unfortunately in the age of shameless, unaccountable, unapologetic, selfish & feckless individuals this is only going to get worse.

    Until collectively as a society we restore that words & themes have defined meanings, agree again reality represents truth, again embrace that differences in opinion do not make people your enemies, try to re-engage in legitimate meaningful debate, once again figure out compromise is a bridge to understand , hold everyone accountable & bring back integrity through principled belief; we will continue to play the most frustrating game of whack-a-mole imaginable.

    While of course what happened to Dan Campbell is a far more extreme brand of ignorance there has been a lot of this type of garbage on a smaller scale. For example it shouldn't be lost on anyone the reason why Goff isn't having the same success with check downs & extending drives is because this fanbase played a role in Josh Reynolds exit. Goff and Reynolds had an invaluable shorthand & degree of trust you cant simply plug anyone in and maintain the same success.

    For a fanbase that saw the greatness of Barry Sander & his humility which almost was a mantra it certainly doesn't embody his "act like you been there before" approach. We have have only experienced a thimble amount of success yet so many act like we have an established dynasty.

    Now of course this ignorance isn't representative of the vast majority of fans but it is the responsibility of those of us who see this type of behavior to call it out & never normalize it.
