The opinion of Geno is pretty much a litmus test deciding if you’re knowledgeable on football or the casual “he’s just a bridge QB” mouth breather.

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
He’s playing good ball and his team mates respect and look up to him.
His performance level is way above his salary cap hit making him an excellent return on investment. No, he’s not a top 5 QB… or arguably even a top 10 consistently (some days he is, some days he isn’t) but he’s getting the job done. A big part of the reason we’re 2-0 right now is because of him.
Plus, his story is awesome. Perennial backup who many considered washed up, comes to the most remote NFL city, takes over the starting QB position after a long term franchise QB left and plays much better ball than the previous QB.

Solid veteran starter. Doesn’t hurt team. Why look for something you already have? LFG!
nope statistically his a top QB why would Hawks do that? Need to harness better OLine play other than Charles Cross. Guards need to get better

Geno Smith ain’t worth shiit in the open market. There’s no trading him.

I’m hoping his confidence is building now that he’s taking off. I mean the suit is sharp as hell, so we may be seeing a glimpse of that.
Only way we trade Geno is for three first rounders and a QB.

Geno is one of my all time fav Seahawks timelines. Even if he doesn’t win another playoff game, the team’s ceiling is not on him. Found a gem from the pile. Drafting young QBs is a total coin flip at best.
