  1. I have been involved in baseball for 45 years and this team defies any definitions .
6 hr, 4- three run homers in a game, score 15 runs ; move to next city and struggle to score even the 3 runs we did score . The most consistently inconsistent team in MLB is this Braves club!!
A golden opportunity to pick up a game on Mets, remain 2 games back. Postseason is looking more dim.

  2. I had a feeling beforehand this game was uncertain despite how they looked yesterday against the Reds and the Marlins loss the night before to the Dodgers. Win or lose, keep the faith but also realistic it’s an uphill climb with the distance being created with each loss.

  3. This offense is too inconsistent, plain and simple. They are embarrassing to watch at times with plate discipline. All the crap losses to these terrible teams will haunt these guys as they watch the postseason from their sofa. I hate it for our starters as they have been really good overall but the hitting is like my wife forcing me to a chair with duct tape and and stapled eye lids open being forced to watch Driving Miss Daisy. Hence… brutal!!!

  4. I can't wait til next season. I can't wait to have our team back together. Also, taking Merrifield out of the lineup for a rusty Ozzie Albies was a terrible decision. Albies is obviously the better player overall but he's not 100% and Merrifield has been hot. Right now, in this moment Merrifield is the better player and should be in the lineup and on the field over Albies. Yeah, maybe if you have a 5 game lead for a playoff spot maybe it's worth it to let Ozzie get some at-bats to get ready for the playoffs but as it stands this is a team that, after tonight I think it's fair to say cannot lose another game if they are going to make it.

  5. Theorically it can be done, in reality …highly unlikely. It is disappointing to see how the braves struggle against a team that will lose 100 games.

  6. Gonna be an odd off-season. So many questions for this squad. How can a team go from 1st (2023) to 2nd to last (2024) in high-leverage situations in a span of a year??? WHAT?!!

  7. I was ok with the lineup. We have catchers that can’t hit and unless we hit HR’s and build a lead we aint winning.Charlie put us in a hole .When’s the last time we came back down 3-0?

  8. This is the first time I've ever said this before we are mathematically eliminated…. but…… it's over boys and girls. I look forward to a hopefully healthy season next year.. chop on!

  9. This is truly a pathetic team, just when you think they might be showing signs of life, they come out and get embarrassed by a last place team

Also getting tired of the injury excuse, yes injuries happened and that's part of the game but I have seen teams this year overcome injuries of their own and they've managed just fine, there is no excuse for them to be playing like this, especially with your playoff hopes on the line

  10. Speed is also crippling the opportunities … Soler should have caught that fly ball ruled double. and Acuna Jr. still leads in braves sb's in 2024 (huh) though Loureano decides tonight he wants close his gap of 9 cause he's so good at stealing bases and forfeits an opportunity for another pot luck hr

  11. Braves season will end next weekend; I blame Stinker for things such as when the Braves line up was hot 2 games in a row 1-4 in Cincinnati he mixed it up and put Albies into soler’s spot. Ozzie should have been batting lower first game back. Stinker forgot how good soler was doing last couple of games.
