  1. If you were to ask four years ago, which goalie had a contract, MAF, Quick or Lehner….we would have ALL been wrong.

Edited to say that I genuinely hope he’s in a good place mentally. I always admired how he talked about the mental stress of the game and all the things surrounding it. I hope he’s in a good headspace, at least.

  2. Not sure what is going on. I am sure Vegas are fine with paying him not to play but seems like their hand will be forced here

  3. The guy has been very candid about his mental health struggles. Hockey aside, I hope he is getting the help he needs.

  4. It sounds like whether it be physical or mental, there are some health issues preventing Lehner from attending camp. It’s a damn shame and I just hope he’s getting whatever help he needs.

  5. “He continues to be unfit to play. There are **unique circumstances** surrounding this situation that the NHL, the NHLPA and (Vegas) are working through. Collectively, we are assessing our next steps, and when we have more to say, we will.”

    Whatever that means…

  6. man i really hope he’s alright but i feel he’s not. it sucks to see how his mental health as been recently, i just really hope he’s able to get in a better place soon.

  7. >According to several sources, everyone involved knew Lehner would not be there. Those same sources indicate the NHL, NHLPA and Vegas are working on a solution.

So Vegas knew there was something going on (likely a mental health episode) that meant he wouldn’t come, and they still started looking to terminate his contract when he didn’t show.

  8. Rob Lehner!
Your goalie style is one of my faves…
“I just get infront of the puck”
    LOL! Legendary!

  9. All these years, Donya could’ve the brakes on blowing through $$$, like $1.2M for a snake farm. I get he has mental health issues, but at some point fam needs to step in and do the right thing. Instead, fam has been using his NHL $$$ for everything.
