Looks like he probably needed a kick in the ass. Hopefully this does it.

There has to be more to this story than just an all-nighter. Young players do stupid stuff like this and get benched a few games not demoted. To get demoted this had to be a chronic issue or he was talked to about it by the club and disregarded or disrespected whomever told him.
He’s young a dumb, this can’t be the only reason he’s been demoted.
This can be the the other side of the rebuild…the future superstar knows he ain’t leaving and the team ain’t trying to win. Have no idea what that clubhouse looks like, but will be interesting to see where the Nats are in a year.

Probably not his first issue. Maybe the Nats are nipping it in the bud. They saw how Wander Franco ruined a franchise for the short term and don’t want the same to happen to them. Not for the same crime as Wander, but for making bad decisions.
Which casino? I’m heading to ballys right now.
If the Nats just HAVE to trade him this offseason, I guess we can take him.
