T.J. Edwards fined $16,883 for his hip-drop tackle last Sunday

  1. I think the league just interested in getting money from the players and no penalty was called.

  2. Pretty cheap fine considering it took Mixon out of the game and is now missing this week, or more. If this is all the NFL will be fining players for this then I don’t see them stopping.

  3. GOOD. Though multiple players (including mixon) are missing games because of these tackles – seems like it should be more than $17k 🙄

  4. If they really want it out of the game players need to miss games and not just be fined. Even a half of a game, something more impactful.

  5. In Australia the hip drop is a massive issue in Rugby League. If you get caught doing it the suspensions are huge due to risk of injury

  6. Will the official who told Mixon that it wasn’t a hip drop also be fined, suspended, beaten, tarred and feathered?
