Very happy to hear this and hope we find out more about Reichel’s offseason work getting back to normal!
Last summer, Lukas focused almost entirely on being in the gym and bulking up to try to hold down a position at center in the NHL – an experiment that obviously failed spectacularly. Now that we know he went back to focusing on his skating (one of his best assets as a player), and it seems like we aren’t messing with putting him at C based on the lines at camp the past few days, I’m very hopeful he can have a strong rebound and get back to the path he was on leading up and through the 2023 season.
Sounds promising. Hope he has a bounce back year
I took 20 years off and got back on the ice last night. Totally know what he means.
Glad he is working on building confidence. He does have offensive talent and he just needs to be more confident + play to his strengths.
Really, REALLY hoping for a good year from him
Inject the reichel redemption tour into my veins
Hell yeah, let’s go
He’s a big question mark for me. I hope he has what it takes, but I’m far from certain that he does.
The new 7-3.
Sounds like he’s finding the right balance that works for him!
Reichel Redemption 2024-2025 Season!
I was at training camp today and Reichel was super noticeable. He was all over the ice, hustling like crazy, and just hitting snipe after snipe wherever he wanted to put it. If that’s the Reichel we see this year, I’m here for it. Overall today, I was super impressed with the Reichel-Kurashev-Turbo line and the Foligno-Dickinson-Mikheyev line.
